DONALD TRUMP has slashed Austin's federal funding.
GREG ABBOTT has forced City Hall to ask Austinites to fill the gap.

PROPOSITION Q generates vital funding to cover Austin’s budget shortfall and restore some of the Trump Administration cuts, with resources dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness, supporting public health and safety, and maintaining our parks and libraries.

Specific initiatives funded by Prop. Q include emergency homeless shelters, immunizations, support for survivors of violent crime, new EMS personnel, police oversight, wildfire prevention, parks maintenance, new library materials, food pantries for schoolkids from low-income families, and support for Austin’s animal adoption center.

Approving Prop. Q would increase Austin property taxes by about $16.75 per month for the owner of a median-priced home.
